Fire Technology
We engineered IsoDri to reduce water intake, helping your turnout gear stay lighter and less vulnerable to heat. Optimum moisture management comes from a thermal liner that both wicks and sheds water. IsoDri® features a facecloth that wicks perspiration which disperses the moisture for faster drying. The layer(s) of DuPont™ Nomex® E-89™ treated with Teflon® F refuse to draw in the moisture and resist absorption, allowing the thermal barrier to function as designed. DuPont Nomex E-89 based thermal liners are made from lightweight and durable nonwoven fabrics and fibers available only from DuPont™.
In addition, IsoDri® thermal liners using apertured AraFlo® promote higher air permeability than other systems and complement state-of-the-art moisture barriers such as CROSSTECH® Moisture Barriers.
Wet turnout gear is heavy and makes moving difficult. LION IsoDri® helps keep you comfortable with reliable protection.
