Bart Hiemstra

Bart joined the HAAGAN team in 2017 to lead the engineering and project management teams.

Before joining LION, Bart studied at the Hanzehogeschool in the Netherlands and left with a bachelor degree in operational technology. He worked for a large multinational in the marine industry building large ports and waterways, artificial islands providing services in the off-shore industry. He has more than 18 years of experience in realizing large international projects all around the world (Africa, Middle East, USA, Europe etc.) and lived overseas in various places. His mission is to bring Haagen to a higher professional level in operational excellence. Is a member of the Lion leadership team representing Custom Build Operations.
