High Wicking Turnout Face Cloth

The star of this LION Janesville turnout liner system is the Shadowbox™ face cloth. Shadowbox™ is a matrix of pure 200 denier filament and Nomex® spun yarns that have high wicking action and the highest lubricity of any face cloth on the market. The result is superior comfort and mobility. This combination system places a tough woven layer of water-resistant Nomex® chambray between the shell and the moisture barrier and a quilted composite of Shadowbox™ face cloth and Teflon® F-finished apertured Nomex® E-89 (AraFlo®) on the other side of the moisture barrier (next to the wearer). This unique system improves the thermal properties (TPP) of the entire ensemble, while delivering outstanding THL values. Only available with Fusion™ or PBI® Matrix outer shells.
