Terry brings more than thirty years experience to the Lion Vallen (LVI) management team. He started out his career as an attorney, specializing in labor and employment law representing employers across the entire United States. Relying heavily on his labor and employment law background Terry then moved into executive management positions in human resources and labor relations. From the human resources and labor relations positions he stepped into a general executive management role with a division of Genesco Inc. in 1987. Over the more than 20 years since then Terry has held general executive management positions. Terry joined Lion Apparel in 1992 in an executive management role, and has been in charge of LVI since its inception in 1994..
As Senior Vice President of LVI, Terry is accountable for the operational and administrative elements of the business, including all contracts, programs, and project initiatives. Underlying his responsibility for the bottom line performance of LVI, Terry must assure the current and long term effectiveness of all LVI programs, ensure the availability of critical resources (financial, human resources, and IT among them). He is authorized to commit LVI resources to meet customer needs. Terry coordinates all program and project planning, and oversees all aspects of program execution by LVI team members. Terry also serves as part of the executive management team of LVI’s parent company, Lion Apparel. Terry earned a BA Degree from Williams College in 1972 and a JD from Washington & Lee University in 1975.
