Brian Carlson

Business Development Program Manager

Recently retired from the United States Army, Brian brings over thirty years of military training and management experience to the Lion Vallen Industries (LVI) management team. Serving as the Basic Combat Training Center of Excellence, Command Sergeant Major at Fort Jackson, SC, he was responsible for overseeing the training and development of approximately 50,000 new recruits annually and all US Army Drill Sergeants. In 2008 Brian began his civilian career as the Business Development Program Manager for LVI.

As the BD program manager for LVI, Brian is located in the Columbia, SC Office. Brian's responsibilities include business development, proposal writing and management, and strategic capture planning.

Brian has attended every Army Noncommissioned Officer leadership course as well as multiple functional area courses. He is a veteran of multiple combat tours to Iraq and contingency operations throughout the world. Brian is finishing his Bachelor’s degree with Saint Leo University and working towards Green Belt certification.
